Updates on Blend Community moving to Help CenterNews

Beginning Wednesday, March 22, the new Blend Community will be live. Overnight from Tuesday, March 21 to Wednesday, March 22, users may experience a temporary delay in service or functionality while the internal Blend teams finalize migration to the new platform. Please continue utilizing the current Blend Community as intended until the new platform is live. Beginning today, March 17, new registration requests will be on hold but will be pre-registered to the new platform during migration. Registration requests during this time will be tracked, and users will receive an email once the request is approved (no later than Wednesday, March 22.) New users will still be required to set a password. As a reminder, there is no change to the website URL; this transition will not impact bookmarks or saved links. Additionally, current Blend Community users who manage support tickets or have previously used the Help Center will not have to register for the new platform. All users must resubscribe

Update: Blend Community is moving to Help CenterNews

Hello, Blend Community! As we continue to bring simplicity and transparency to our customers, we are excited to announce a few changes coming to the Blend Community! Next month, you’ll notice a new look and feel of the Community. We will transition the technology that powers the Blend Community to the same partners that help power our help center - help.blend.com! These changes will help create a more seamless experience for users when accessing our resources. Even better - there are no immediate changes on your end! The URL will stay the same, so no need to update your bookmarks. Furthermore, if you’ve previously registered with the help center or submitted a support ticket, you’ll already have access to the new Blend Community landing page! Additionally, we will continue to share our Blend Product Updates (Release Notes) with all registered customers. Once the switch happens in March, you will need to resubscribe (i.e. follow) to the release notes page to receive the weekly email

Loan Team: LO receives reply from customer when processors sent email

Hello, When a customer replies to the email sent from the Loan Processor in Blend when a condition or follow-up is added, the reply feature directs the response to the Loan Originator. Does anyone have advice on how to remedy or how their organization handles the lack of an available remedy? Thank you!

Inviting pair to apply

What needs to be done when inviting a pair to apply for them to receive the email. I entered the pair information and also switched to the pair when sending the invite, and yet over and over. I all cases with pairs, the second party is not receiving the email.Please advise,

Pre-approve refinance in Blend without triggering TRID

Borrower completed application online. Subject property is present address. If I put enter the appraisal value, TRID will be triggered. What is the work around to be able to complete qualification in BLEND without triggering TRID? I need the appraisal value entered to obtain LTV and run AUS.

How to make a custom fillable word doc as a follow up from Encompass

hi, I’m looking for direction on how to make a custom form in Encompass that we can send as a follow up through Blend but is fillable for the borrower in Blend. I’ve tried to do it both as a PDF and word doc in Encompass to Blend but it just makes it a down load where the borrower would have to complete and re-upload.is this possible? if not we can look to add it to our initial disclosure package.

Encompass Users - Issues with Title Only/ Non Borrowing emails/econsent?

Has anyone else using Encompass/the KM Tool noticed issues with syncing Title Only/Non Borrowing spouses after the update to the tool was pushed out in December? We’ve seen two issues ongoing after this, that seem to have corrected themselves after we pulled the plugin patch out. Previously, we’ve been able to have a title only/non borrowing spouse share an email with a borrower. With that patch we couldn’t do that anymore from Encompass, and if we did it directly in Blend it would cause syncing issues once the file was in Encompass. Even if we had everything working, non borrowing user added with there own email and synced to Blend, there econsent would sometimes just not come back to Encompass for us. Tried all of the usual KM tool fixes (MORE than used to using them at this point) - and the only thing we could do to fix it was pull out this most recent patch. Only thing I can think of is this most recent patch broke this process or there’s some new setting we’re missing here. Not s

Why isn’t the Notes Window available to write notes during certain phases of the application/loan?seems it’s only available when the application is complete and disclosures have not been sent.

Cancel or Prevent Borrower Notifications on LO Reassignment

We’ve had recent departures and we need to re-assign some of their files, however, to avoid the mass confusion generated, we don’t want “reassignment” notifications going to the borrower unless/until we tell it to. Is there a way to turn these off?Or is it a matter of leaving our old LO’s assigned as LO and adding the new one to the team until we absolutely need to reassign the originator?My practice has been to assign No Rights to those users who have left, but the minute we’ve tried just adding a new LO to the team, it automatically assigns them as the Originator. I get that they need to be Originator in order to do any signing, but customers don’t need to be blind sided with that info.
