Occasionally consumer banking customers run into an issue where their address is not recognized as valid in the application workflow. It appears to me that the only recourse they have if this happens to them is to use an alternate address (which often is not feasible) or to abandon the application altogether. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with consumer banking customers? Is it possible to bypass this feature or enter an address “as written” rather than being limited to what Google considers valid?
Hi everyone!A frequently asked question to Blend Support is “My borrower applied today but I can’t find the loan. Can you help me locate it?” or “I’m trying to request new documents on an old loan but I can’t find it.” We will cover a few common scenarios that can lead to a loan not appearing in your pipeline and the next steps you can take to locate the loan. The borrower didn’t actually applyOne common issue occurs when borrowers inform their Loan Officer that they would be applying on a certain day or time, but they don’t actually apply.Next stepsConfirm with the borrower if they applied through Blend. With the Phase Two Rollout of Customer Self-Service Administration, Blend user admins have the ability to update a subset of global settings without the need to engage Blend Support or their account teams. One of these settings includes Organization updates. If you are updating the Email From Address or the Default Support Email Address to a different domain, your DNS CNAME entries will need to be updated. Failing to do so can result in email delivery issues. Reach out to Blend Support to get new SES records and update them before updating the email domain. FAQIf we change the email back to a domain we previously used, do we need new records from Blend? There is no need to generate new records, the records for the previously used domain will remain the same. We seem to have this issue when we do a 2nd loan for a client that's already in Blend. He is trying to log into the new loan, but he doesn't remember his password. When he tried to reset it, the email just takes him back to the login page and doesn't give him to option of resetting his password. Do you know how I get around this?
This article covers some of the most frequently asked questions on Blend’s SMS feature. It seems the follow-ups for Asset Statements, Mortgage Statement, and Homeowner’s Insurance are no longer in the lists of the categories in which they used to live. I see Asset Statement and Mortgage Statement under “Commonly Used”, but that’s it. And Homeowner’s Insurance is searchable, but I can’t find it in any list (and when I search it, it appears four times). Did I miss this in some release notes?
Does anyone know the frequency of emails sent by firstname.lastname@example.org on unassigned loans? More specifically, if a prospective borrower starts an application with no one listed as the MLO, how quickly will admins or coordinators who have the appropriate “notify me on unassigned loans” setting be notified via email? Thanks,
Is there a way to tell if a loan officer has gone into a loan file in Blend if I look at the pipeline view?
When I assign loans in Blend with the pipeline view, it shows me as the last touched by person. Even if my LO views the file, it does not update to their name unless they do something other than view the loan in Blend. I have tested this by looking at files so many that show I was the last one to touch the loan even though my LO went in the loan file. The only way I can see for sure if an LO went in the loan is to open it, then go to the activity log. Is there a way for me to see if an LO went into a loan file from the pipeline view? Thank you
Hello,Any of you using Blend eNote with DocMagic eVault has a solution about not being able to e-sign eNote on a mobile device? Blend implementation manager told me "eNotes can be signed via a mobile device however the signer will want to ensure they have allowed for third party cookies in their browser settings." Me and another admin couldn't get it to work even on our own iphones.....

When a borrower completes an app in Blend, does it require or request two years worth of employment? We are used to getting the full 2 years of employment, but this week have started to receive aps with just their current employer and many that have been in that job for a month or two. I realize the borrower has the option to put two years, but want to know if it requests two years or has a pop-up saying there is less than two years, etc? Thanks
Most of our clients upload the Social Security and credit card disclosures back to the general website instead of uploading them to the Ink Signed portion, and when they do upload to the correct spot, they almost always upload both borrower and co-borrower docs which results in the task not fully being completed even though we have the documents back. Is there a way we can manually check this task off so our borrowers don’t keep getting emails that their tasks are not complete?
I have some custom follow up docs and I am occasionally having trouble when sending more than one simultaneously. Sometimes it works and other times I get an error. (Unexpected error occurred. Please try again) This happens when sending from various computers. When it happens, I have to send the docs out one at a time and I don’t receive any errors. I’m sending the same exact docs, just separately. Thanks,Charlie
When I export a loan application completed through LOTK and then make necessary changes in Encompass after the export and rerun DU I receive the following prompt:Additionally, when I reissue the credit report via encompass and then try to run DU I get the following error.:So the workaround is then to manually clear out the DU ref # in field MORNET.X4 in Encompass and then I can successfully run DU.Is anyone doing something differently? I have submitted a support ticket but was told the workaround I am doing is the process I need to follow when LO’s complete the application.
