Loan Team: LO receives reply from customer when processors sent email
Hello, When a customer replies to the email sent from the Loan Processor in Blend when a condition or follow-up is added, the reply feature directs the response to the Loan Originator. Does anyone have advice on how to remedy or how their organization handles the lack of an available remedy? Thank you!
How to make a custom fillable word doc as a follow up from Encompass
hi, I’m looking for direction on how to make a custom form in Encompass that we can send as a follow up through Blend but is fillable for the borrower in Blend. I’ve tried to do it both as a PDF and word doc in Encompass to Blend but it just makes it a down load where the borrower would have to complete and re-upload.is this possible? if not we can look to add it to our initial disclosure package.
Encompass Users - Issues with Title Only/ Non Borrowing emails/econsent?
Has anyone else using Encompass/the KM Tool noticed issues with syncing Title Only/Non Borrowing spouses after the update to the tool was pushed out in December? We’ve seen two issues ongoing after this, that seem to have corrected themselves after we pulled the plugin patch out. Previously, we’ve been able to have a title only/non borrowing spouse share an email with a borrower. With that patch we couldn’t do that anymore from Encompass, and if we did it directly in Blend it would cause syncing issues once the file was in Encompass. Even if we had everything working, non borrowing user added with there own email and synced to Blend, there econsent would sometimes just not come back to Encompass for us. Tried all of the usual KM tool fixes (MORE than used to using them at this point) - and the only thing we could do to fix it was pull out this most recent patch. Only thing I can think of is this most recent patch broke this process or there’s some new setting we’re missing here. Not s
Cancel or Prevent Borrower Notifications on LO Reassignment
We’ve had recent departures and we need to re-assign some of their files, however, to avoid the mass confusion generated, we don’t want “reassignment” notifications going to the borrower unless/until we tell it to. Is there a way to turn these off?Or is it a matter of leaving our old LO’s assigned as LO and adding the new one to the team until we absolutely need to reassign the originator?My practice has been to assign No Rights to those users who have left, but the minute we’ve tried just adding a new LO to the team, it automatically assigns them as the Originator. I get that they need to be Originator in order to do any signing, but customers don’t need to be blind sided with that info.
Does Blend require or request 2 years employment?
When a borrower completes an app in Blend, does it require or request two years worth of employment? We are used to getting the full 2 years of employment, but this week have started to receive aps with just their current employer and many that have been in that job for a month or two. I realize the borrower has the option to put two years, but want to know if it requests two years or has a pop-up saying there is less than two years, etc? Thanks
Can we add 3 borrowers on a blend application

Borrower pairs consist of one or two individuals. But you can add multiple borrower pairs. Hope that helps!
Loan Team Administration
Good morning, I am wondering if I can configure an LO assistant to have the ability to manage the Loan Team for a specific LO or LO’s. For instance, if an LO goes on vacation and did not update their loan team before leaving, I would like their assistant to be able to make edits to the loan team in the LO’s absence. Does anyone know if this is possible, or is loan team editing restricted to the LO and System Admin? Thank youCharlie
Best Practices - User Management
As an admin, what is the best practice for users who are no longer with the company? Should we delete them outright? If so, what happens to the applications that they are assigned the Loan Originator (or Loan Team)?We have No Rights role, and they get Locked Out Dormancy - but I’d like to keep the User list clean and accurate. Optimal Blue Integration Question
Hello,I read article in Help Center about Optimal Blue. I want to double check to make sure I understand this correctly. Lender can check rate without creating a lead in Blend. Lender can create scenarios in loan application. All these are not visible to borrower until loan officer sends invitation or loan scenarios to borrower. Does this sound right? We want to learn more about Optimal Blue and Blend integration. We currently use Optimal Blue with Encompass. One of our concerns with Optimal Blue in Blend is how much rate and pricing info is visible to borrower. Is there an option to not show Rate/APR or Points to borrower in Scenario?
